So long… partner

I’m sad.

I’m sad guys.

The moment has finally arrived.

The moment I was hoping it would never come.

Peter Capaldi is leaving Doctor Who.

I think the moment has finally come to share with you, my story as a whovian. About how I entered the Doctor Who fandom.

Let’s go back in time my magical children…

Everything started back in OY.com, when I created my SuperFolder account.

I remember that one day, we were talking about TV shows, and someone mentioned Doctor Who. Lots of people would suddenly start fanboying/fangirling. And so, I’d pretend I also knew Doctor Who and was a whovian. I even said Matt Smith was my favorite Doctor. Even though I had no single idea who he was :v

Oh and that’s not all, I’d also fold Matt Smith’s Doctor, so they would believe me xD

This was in 2013. The day of the 50th anniversary (I remember I played the Google game of Doctor Who :v ).

Anyway, you know the BBC revealed the picture of who would be the next Doctor, Peter Capaldi, somewhere around that date too. And I was like “OMG EW HE IS TOO OLD TO BE THE DOCTOR”.

The year passed, and Capaldi’s first season began. Everything went back to normal (I’d still fold Matt Smith’s Doctor just for fun). Normal year. 2014. Blah blah blah.

Then the next year. My brother saw that Doctor Who was on. And we decided to start watching it just for fun. It was “Dark Water” episode of Season 8. And oh my god I loved it. Then we watched “Death in Heaven” and I’d be like “oh my god OH MY GOD OH MY GOD”. And that’s how I fell in love with Doctor Who. With Peter Capaldi as my first Doctor.

Months later Jenna Coleman would announce she was leaving Doctor Who and I’d be like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!.

Then I slowly started to become a Whovian. I bought Matt Smith’s seasons and I watched them while they were broadcasting Season 9 so I could quickly catch up.

Then I bought Christopher’s season, then David’s seasons. And I fell in love with Doctor Who.

And Peter Capaldi became my favorite Doctor. He was my first Doctor, and his episodes made me fall in love with the show. Actually, I think I’m part of the people who think Season 8 wasn’t THAT BAD. I loved it xD but Season 9 is my favorite :3

So you can imagine how I cried last year when “The Return of Doctor Mysterio” was broadcasted live with the U.K. here. It was beautiful.

But now, Peter has said he is leaving, along with Moffat. I suppose he will be regenerating on this year’s Christmas special.
You know what Peter? You’ll be missed. A lot. Many people don’t like you, but you are my Doctor. And I respect your decision about leaving. You brought your own taste to the show. And I’m looking forward to this year’s Season 10, and to Pearl’s performance as Bill and Matt Lucas’ performance as Nardole. I feel like this season will be great.

Thank you for everything Peter :’)

The sky is the start line.

They made a big deal about this in England. I’m not a Doctor Who fan, but I do watch all the episodes. I feel your pain.

In America being USA. They have BBC America. But in other countries (such as Mexico) they moved it from BBC Entertainment to SyFy.

Yeah USA. Ok, just wondered. The way channels are ordered here are different. You have to pay to get channels like SyFy. You just get the main channel networks.

I feel your pain. Even though I have literally never seen an episode of Doctor Who.
